From the autism spectrum to the color spectrum, Samara Huckvale’s films are rich with variety, depth and character.

Centered around comedy, community and camp, Huckvale’s fiction plays with the duality of absurdism and reality. Their films are colorful in sound, sight and style. Huckvale’s award winning debut, Them, was dubbed a “rom-com about friendship.” Their film, Ocean’s 24/7, dares to ask what if stoners committed to their hyperboles? Their next spoof, 420 Ways to Die, is currently in production.

From their slices of life to their slices of fantasy, Huckvale’s vulnerability and ability to pour themselves into their art transcends genres.
